App Limitations

Emergency Plus uses your device’s inbuilt GPS and platform-selected mapping to display your location. In cases where an inaccurate street address is displayed, generally this is related to hardware issues or your smartphone’s ability to receive sufficient signals from the Global Navigation Satellite System, to determine an accurate location. Please note Emergency Plus now gives you the option to drop a ‘what3words’ pin at a specific location, to improve the accuracy in reporting an incident by relaying the selected what3words identifier and/or the associated latitude/longitude co-ordinates to the emergency call-taker.

Important – if there is no mobile coverage on any network, you will not be able to call the Triple Zero (000) service via a mobile telephone.
